Lumberjacking is a skill in Wayward that increases in levels as the Player Harvests seeds from Tree's or cuts them down with an anything that can 'gather'. Though Axe's are the best tool for this job, it can be done with many others such as Spears, Stone Knives, or even the Players hands. There is a downside to using the Players hands as this can deal damage to you over time and can even inflict the bleeding effect. So it is recommended to use, at the very least, a Stone Axe.
